The cover of this book was hard to resist.

Beth has been through the worst betrayal that anyone should ever have to go through. I would probably never trust anyone again if I had to live through what she did. I would really think that there must be something really wrong with me in the sex department.

Marco will only have a relationship for a month before he breaks up with the woman that he is going with. All bets are off and everything changes when Beth comes on the scene. I really liked the way they met.

Both of the characters in this book have some hang ups and need help getting over things that are in their pasts. There is a really strong connection between these two. I would like to know if Beth ever tries to talk to her sister again. I do believe that would help her heal even more.

I didn’t realize until I was getting ready to write my review that there was another book before this one and I will have to go back and read it. This is the first book that I have read by this author. I enjoyed the way her characters interact with each other and the plot was great. I liked how the characters resolved what was going on in their lives to be able to have a future.

I recommend this book to everyone that loves a great erotic read.

A Comprehensive History of Japan

A History of the Japanese People is a comprehensive history of the Japanese Empire from its mythological beginnings up to the date of publication in 1912. Because the copyright has expired, it can be downloaded free, which is very convenient for anyone who wishes to learn more about the earliest Japanese history. Naturally, this book cannot cover more recent events, including World War II and after, but the lack is more than made up for by the authors' exhaustive coverage of Ancient, Medieval, and early modern Japan.
The first chapters do drag a bit as the authors describe the mythological history of prehistoric Japan. The myths and legends are rather disordered and the names of the gods are confusing and repetitive. Once they move on to firmer ground, the story becomes more engrossing.
Despite the excellent quality of this work, two weaknesses made the book less than completely satisfactory. First, the kindle edition does not include the illustrations or the maps. I could do without the illustrations, but at least one map of the Japanese islands would have enabled me to follow the events better, especially the military campaigns. The second weakness is that in a comprehensive history such as this, there are many unfamiliar (to the Western reader) names and terms and it is sometimes difficult to remember them all. A glossary would have been helpful. Despite these weaknesses, I highly recommend this book.
I might add, not as part of the review, in light of later events in Japanese history, it is a bit chilling to read the authors defense of Japanese aggressions in Manchuria and Korea, especially when they suggest that the Japanese annexation of Korea in 1910 was for the benefit of the Korean people. I think few Koreans would agree with that sentiment.

Japanese History

I am a history teacher and this book has been more than adequate in helping me preparing for teaching according to the standards of California. This book is very comprehensive so you should search your Kindle for key words like, Prince Shotoku, Daika Reforms, and Sengoku Jidai. That should make reading the book a lot more easier. The vocabulary can be extravagant at some parts but if your reading it on the Kindle you can easily scroll down to the word and find the definition, but if your reading the actually paper back you better have a dictionary close by and good luck! You cannot beat the price of free for a comprehensive scholarly source of Japanese History. Enjoy!

The Wrong Impression.

The only previous reviewer made this book sound horrible, but sometimes I don't really care. This does have a slight overabundance of words, indeed where a few less would have done the same job. That is not hindering as much as he made it seem. As a high school student, I can say that this is superior to my writing and I am an above average writer for my age group.

I like it.

I understand that it is an author trying to give his mentor/inspiration his fair credit. It is written like a "Dummies" book-using easy language for the layperson. I like the book-it explains the history of hypnosis and why he's telling you about it-which makes the chapter make sense to read. The rest is cool-I feel like I am really getting the same lesson as if I were sitting in a room watching someone do the steps. I guess some ppl are turned off by the mentor tribute, and the way the author explains why some medical professionals want to keep it for themselves. The chiropractic analogy explains it well-and I, for one, am glad I am getting this perspective. I am hoping to one day train in the art and become a master myself!

A must have for serious students!

Learning hypnosis in Chile is not an easy task; you have courses that cover the basics of Hypnosis in a somewhat proper way but they do not cover all the relevant aspects. This book helped me a lot to understand the foundations of the art of hypnosis, and helped me to enhance my performance as Hypnotist.

I would recommend this book to anyone who wants to learn the basics of hypnosis! The author has a deep respect for his late mentor and you can see this reflected in the quality of the book and in its second volume The Art of Hypnotherapy that covers some more advanced techniques that in my practice have proven very effective!

This book is truly a must have for hypnosis students! So read it, study it and learn the basics that will help you to become a great professional!

This little booklet does have some cute fresh ideas for kids. However, because it is Australian some of the ingrediants, measurements and terminology are a little unfamiliar and confusing.

Kids Party Food

I love this book. It is filled with staple recipes I enjoyed at birthday parties as a child in Australia. The recipes are quick and easy, and a hit with children and adults alike. Some ingredients are distinctly Australian, but can be substituted or located locally. If you are looking for ideas for an Australian themed kids party, or just fun snacks, then this is the book for you.

Excellent introduction to Theology for the student and serious reader alike

I recently came across this book from a friend and having perused it at length, think that it is the best Intro to Christian theology currently out there. I had McGrath's "Christian Theology: An Introduction" for a textbook as an undergrad years ago, which was excellent. This I think is better, more readable, and more comprehensive. I think this will become a classroom standard and a great guide for those with a serious interest in theology for years to come.
