A Great Puzzle

This book is incredibly deep, presenting a puzzle to my mind. Because of that, this is a book which I will return to again and again. I also loved the author's understanding of human nature and his use of strategy within the book. Additionally, the story itself is fresh and unique. I love this type of book!

A Geniusly Written, Intense Read!

This book was a lot more intense for me than the other two in the series. I felt a lot of different emotions while reading it, and honestly, it started out a bit darker than the sort of books I am used to reading; but as the story unfolded, the genius behind all of it became clear.
I also found the ending not only a bit of a cliffhanger, but quite sad.
After it was over, I honestly wasn't quite sure how I felt about it at first; since I tend to read books that are more humorous and light, yet as I gained a little distance and thought about everything that this story reveals, I had to admit that this is book is extremely well written.
Just the fact that it got me to feel so many emotions is evidence of that. Plus I am really, really wanting to find out what happens next.
The only thing I would note is it might be a bit too mature of a story for younger readers. I think a high schooler could handle it, but I'm not so sure about middle school, and definitely not elementary aged kids. Just my opinion though. I'm probably a lot more sensitive than most kids these days, so I could be wrong. I just know, as a parent this is not one I would allow my nine year old to read, although, I might read all of these books to my kids in a few more years, and then we can discuss anything that seems a bit over their heads or disturbing.
Anyway, really great story, and you really come to care about the narrator in this one.

Good book! Love the series!

My 13 year old son ask for these books. He got them and read them 4 of Lance Conrad books in 2 weeks. Then he begged me to read them. I love these books. This one was alittle harder to for me to read because of the belittling rantings of one of the character s, but that didnt bother my son. Great book. We cant wait for the next one!

Easy Reading for a Textbook

Usually a textbook would be hard to read. This textbook isn't one of them. I would say that this textbook has been easy to read, even if the subject matter is tedious reading for me. However, the way the textbook has been formatted makes the reading flow smoothly, and I didn't feel the "textbook boredom" that I sometimes get when I read through a textbook. I will say that there is the requisite grammar errors that the authors/editors might not catch, but they weren't so much that they detract from the subject matter. Overall, this textbook is one of the best that I'd gotten assigned to me through my educational years.

He previous work for Osprey includes Men-at-Arms 305 The Russian Civil War (2) White Armies. He is married and lives in Moscow.

Not the best guide to understanding the Red Army during the RCW

Not the best guide to understanding the Red Army during the RCW, but I got it for the color uniform plates which are very nice.

Good place to get started

The RED ARMY is a good hastely review of the RCW from the Red Army view. I recommend it to all. However, some of the information is incorrect and OOB chart are wrong. The book is basically an extremely edited version of the Soviet encyclopedia "Civil War and Military Intervention in the SSSR". Many of the entries in Red Army are from the encyc. word for word and sometimes the best info is left out or conclusions incorrect. Granted the Osprey format does not have a lot of room for text. Its companion the White Army is more detailed where the Red Army is terrible general in detail. If you could see the source for the info you would understand what has been left out. I liked the book, but was left with more questions than when I started.

An epic romance

I love this book. I read it as a teenager and now again as an adult, although it's been very difficult to find, since I couldn't remember the title. This review will be a bit spoiler-y (I'm warning you now) because when I was trying to find it, every other review was just vague enough that I wasn't positive this was the novel I was looking for. It's the story of Dana O'Malley raised dirt-poor in the swamps by her mother and lecherous step-father after her birth father abandoned her unmarried pregnant mother. Dana escapes from the swamps with the help of a Creole aristocrat, Julian, who takes her as his ward, causing a scandal. Dana is haunted by prophetic dreams about the man she will love, interpreted by a fellow swamp-woman who has 'the sight' that she will love four men. Two she will be in love with, the other two she will just love. One of them is good, but does bad. And one of them will want her in a way that is unnatural.

Needless to say, Dana is never accepted by the old New Orleans aristocracy, even though she transforms herself into a lady. She has a tragic love affair with her benefactor's brother, and escapes New Orleans, eventually becoming a very successful actress, the career that leads her to the final two men of her prophecy. There is a happily-ever-after that rang so true to me. I loved that the 'true' love didn't woo her with poetry and jewels, but spoke to her the way two soul mates actually speak to each other (at least at the very end when the conflict is over-there's also a lot of fighting that's not so romantic, but honest nonetheless). I'll be ordering Jennifer Wilde paperbacks in the marketplace one by one. If only they would be released on Kindle!

This novel suprised me since it didn't follow the usual "love at first sight" situations of romance novels. I liked the fact that Dana does come to realize that her true love is with a man that she could be herself. A true novel idea for this genre of books.

A breath-taking book.

Superb characters, superb writing. This is actually the last book J Wilde wrote. As all of J wildes books, this was enchanting, a little similar to Angel In Scarlet as the main character is an actress, but enjoyable all the same.

A great gift. Highly recommended!

I do tend to have some issues with my PH, so i bought this in conjunction with the pill Rephresh. This feminine wash works great and does leave a clean and refreshing feeling after the shower. My tip is to "scrub" a little longer than usual just to make sure you're getting it totally clean. I suggest buying Rephresh is you find this doesn't help with odor or discharge.To be discreet i actually poured it into an old body wash bottle, just in case i have guests over, just make sure you set it to the side so it doesn't get confused with normal body wash. Shipping took less than a week.

Absolutely beautiful. A work for the ages. Combines satire with out and out comical revulsion. Makes fun of Americans, feminists, Europeans, politicians, and just about everybody else. 10/10 Would Recommend.

Nikolas Kerr
founder and president of Kerr Consulting Group LLC, a firm based in Silicon Valley focused on helping companies successfully launch medical device products. He has spent over 15 years in a variety of product marketing roles from entry level to executive positions at large device companies (Medtronic) and at small device start-ups. During that time, he successfully launched more than 10 medical device products which collectively generate over $500 million in annual revenue.� Mr. Kerr has undergraduate and graduate degrees in business and economics from the University of South Carolina. He lives in the San Francisco Bay Area with his wife, Xiaolei, and has three children.

Tony Recupero
proven commercial leader with over 25 years of medical device experience. Tony heads up Catalyst Performance Consultants, where he advises sales and marketing executives on revenue-accelerating sales and marketing strategies. Tony was formerly president and CEO of Baxano, which was sold to Trans1, Inc. in 2013. Prior to Baxano, Tony built a highly acclaimed sales force as vice president of sales for Kyphon Inc., which was sold to Medtronic in 2007 for $3.9 billion. Before that, Tony led the Sulzer Spine-Tech sales force to over $110 million in revenue. Tony started his medical device career in sales management with United States Surgical Corporation, well known as an aggressive sales and marketing organization, where he excelled in a rapid growth environment. Tony Recupero is a graduate of the General Management Program at Harvard Business School and holds a bachelor's degree in communications from the State University of New York at Albany. Tony lives in Pleasanton, California, with his wife, Patty, and has five children.

Being fresh to the medical device salesworld and its competitive nature, this book provided key insight for myself on the power of marketing and how every aspect of launching a device must be used to its fullest advantage with feedback from ever level of the company. These two experienced authors were able to provide real-life examples of what to do and what not to do when launching a product. I would recommend this for anyone looking for a practical, clear and concise guide to expand their horizon when it comes to promoting a medical device(s) or any product for that matter!

I really like how the authors packed in so much valuable information in under 80 pages. Very refreshing! I'm tired of reading other business books that drag on as if they are trying to hit a target page # set by the publisher. The book also reads very fast with many practical examples that can quickly be adopted to boost the success of a product launch. Having launched and participated in many product launches myself, I highly recommend this book for folks involved in medical device product launches. A fun, easy and practical read!

Great book! Incredible amount of useful and compact information about launching a medical device. It comes from two people who have done it and understand the needs from the sales and marketing perspective.

I'm in the midst of launching a product and this book lays out a direct pathway and checklist. I recommend this book for anyone in the medical device space or anyone planning on launching a medical product.
